Route Description

The right of way starts as a section of hard track, leaving the main road (A83) opposite Auchindrain Folk Museum. After crossing the bridge over the Leacann Water and passing the turn to Brenachoille it becomes a track running west-south-west through forest, beyond which a rough track continues to the once derelict cottage at Carron (now restored as a bothy) and heads south-west into forest, eventually joining a forest road continuing south-west to Leckuary and the public road.
