Route DescriptionFrom the A702 at Watermeetings, take the road to the Daer Reservoir for 7km to Kirkhope Cleuch where there is good parking. Proceed S for 5km past Kirkhope by a rough track and SW up Thick Cleuch, over the col and down Tansley Burn. At NS 924 008, where the Tansley Burn joins Berry Grain, there is a choice of either continuing SW by Cample Cleuch to Burn Farm, or going W round Par Hill by a track high above Kettleton Reservoir to Burn Farm. Thence go by road to Thornhill.
